Who are we?
May we introduce ourselves?
After having worked in the catering industry for years in the Netherlands, and have had our own restaurant together for 3 years, we wanted something different.
Long story short, we wanted to live, work and enjoy. At Domaine Les Gonies we are able to live, work out side with nature, and still have lots of contact with our guests and enjoy French life.
She is the cook, farmer and hostess.
He is the waiter, farmer and handyman.

What we do
We try to let our guests experience what we are so enthusiastic about. If you have questions about how life is on our farm, please feel free to ask. We will be happy to take you along for a tour with our animals, or to explore our vegetable garden.
Our restaurant runs on products of own soil. We grow our products organic. This also applies to the animal feed. We work as environmentally friendly as possible. Waste that is edible goes to the pigs, wood released at the demolition becomes reused, perhaps for the wood stove. The remainder of the non-destined waste is separated and recycled. The rinse water for the restrooms of the campsite is pumped from the Lot River.
In addition, we would like to give you an explanation of our "green" energy flow. On the barn, we have solar panels. Our central heating is partly based on solar energy, and partly on wood from our own forest. At the end of the day, we aim for a CO2 neutral environment. Whether it succeeds, the future will learn!
